In the “Tandircha” investment block at the “Alachagiquduq” field, an important technological stage has been successfully completed at appraisal-production well No. 3.

In the “Tandircha” investment block, at appraisal-production well No. 3 of the “Alachagiquduq” field, another significant technological stage of well construction has been successfully completed in full compliance with all established standards and technological discipline requirements.

In particular, during the drilling operations:

Casing strings with a diameter of Ø426 mm were run to a depth of 103 meters,

Ø324 mm — were run to a depth of 1035 meters,

Ø244.5 mm — were run to a depth of 3145 meters,

Ø193 mm — were run to a depth of 3520 meters,
followed by full-scale cementing operations carried out in strict compliance with technological regulations.

The successful implementation of this stage ensured the stability of the wellbore, increased its structural reliability, and created a solid technological foundation for the safe and continuous continuation of drilling operations.

At present, preparatory works are underway for the next drilling stage to the project depth of 4100 m for the production casing with a diameter of Ø140 mm.

It should be particularly noted that all works are being carried out exclusively with the company’s own forces and resources. The process involves modernized drilling rigs, the enterprise’s production infrastructure, as well as highly qualified engineering and technical personnel.

Drilling rigs that underwent modernization and major overhauls in 2023–2024 are currently being efficiently utilized in production processes. This is a clear result of systematic efforts to restore technical capacity, ensure rational use of resources, and strengthen the enterprise’s production independence.

The drilling of the well was started in 2025 and has since been carried out in stages, in strict compliance with the established technological parameters and requirements.

Upon completion of the works, it is expected to reach a production level of up to 300 thousand cubic meters of natural gas per day, which will significantly increase production performance and strengthen the overall production potential of the enterprise.

The achieved results serve as a practical confirmation of the effectiveness of measures being implemented for the sustainable development of the fuel and energy complex, the rational use of internal resources, and the strengthening of the country’s industrial potential.
